How could you not stop at a place with staff as cute as these two, waiting to take your order? And with the name of the place… Try My Nuts… how could one resist? Thanks to Mary and Mark of Massachusetts for sending me these photos while driving along Highway 17 in Stafford County, Virginia. Here’s a piece from last summer on Fredericksburg.com about the opening of Try My Nutsin Fredericksburg.
With items like White Trash and Dirty White Trash, and, well – with a “Search My Nuts” option on their website, I’ve got a feeling that this is a place with a good sense of humor. Here’s a bit about the place, from their About Us webpage:
Try My Nuts is a family owned and operated business that was created in 1999 with our first store in Corolla, NC. We started out with only about 600 square feet of retail space, not sure if our concept would work. After that first summer and many happy customers, we knew we were onto something. We now have three retail locations in the Outer Banks of North Carolina as well as this website. We take pride in our customer service and we have made many new friends over the years. Our whole family is in the business now and we feel very fortunate to be able to do what we do. We thank all our loyal customers for making us what we are and we pledge to keep finding new and unique products for you to enjoy!
Thanks to Mark and Mary for bringing me some White Trash as a treat – it came in a green plastic trash can… and it was pretty delicious.
So if you’re in Virginia, on Highway 17 – why not stop and say hello to these two gentlemen… and… oh, nevermind, I won’t say it. Just buy something!
