The Leckie/Holloway House, Port Royal, Virginia – Water Street view

The Leckie House, also known as the Holloway House, was built in the 1770s in Port Royal, Virginia.  It was originally owned by John Hipkins who was a wealthy merchant and land speculator.  There was also a brick storehouse on the corner and a granary on the lot.  This home is considered one of the last displays of wealth from early Port Royal.
