~Glen Burnie Historic House Boxwood Garden~
There are six acres of public gardens surrounding the Glen Burnie Historic House at the Museum of the Shenandoah Valley – gardens which include an exquisite Pleached Allée and Grand Allée, an asian-influenced garden, vegetable and perennial gardens, a boxwood garden and more.
I visited the garden in late April, when the greens were still bright – it was quiet, not crowded – it was a wonderful place to spend an afternoon.
