By day, the Pumpkin Patch at Boone Hall Plantation – right along Highway 17 South in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina – looks peaceful and inviting… what better place to roam a pumpkin patch for the perfect pumpkin, or to purchase mums for your front porch?

However, at nightfall – the place changes and Boone Hall Fright Nights invade the pumpkin patch… with Nightmare Manor, the Terror Trail Hayride, Chaos and Quarantine, and Psycho Clowns in 3D.  You can get tickets for one or all of the attractions – and last week I went to all four.

They were alot of fun, that is, if you like creatures climbing onto your hayride in the dark, or if you don’t mind clowns coming out of nowhere and surrounding you – or if it doesn’t scare you to be caught in the middle of a facility in lock down due to a deadly chemical exposure… all fun, right?

They’ll be open through Halloween night – so if you find yourself along Highway 17 in Mt Pleasant, perhaps you’d like to stop…  if you dare!
