Gullah Geechee Cultural Heritage Corridor signs are popping up along Highway 17!
This is my 11th Q&A here at US 17 Coastal Highway - and my 2nd Q&A focused on Florida. As I stated almost two weeks ago, when I posted the interview with Ronald Broome of Florida Native Photography - I've neglected Florida to-date, so I'm in a bit of more.
For those of you that frequent US 17 Coastal Highway, it's obvious by now that I've neglected Florida horribly thus far. It hasn't been intentional - I just haven't been able to carve out enough time to go on the kind of road trip that Florida deser more.
I first came across the photography of Meryl Truett when I was searching online for information about Highway 17, and I came across her 2008 Blurb book, "Highway 17 The Road Less Traveled". I was drawn to the images she included in the book, but love more.
Kim Richey, "A Place Called Home" more.
